We’re delighted to open our brewery doors to people who want a guided tour of our premises – to experience some of the many refreshing brews we bring to life on site.
Maybe you’re coming to Ireland from overseas and you want to savour some authentic Galway brews with your family and friends? You might be planning a stag or hen party, getting your office ready for a corporate do, or gathering the squad together for a fun day out. Whatever you’re planning to do as a group, you can be sure that the Galway Hooker Brewery in Oranmore is the place to do it.
Take a look behind the scenes of how Ireland’s third oldest craft brewery produces it’s iconic beers. Located on the outskirts of Galway City, a tour of Galway Hooker Brewery, gives visitors an insight to the craftsmanship that goes into producing our beers and an opportunity to taste the first ever produced Irish Pale Ale, Galway Hooker Irish Pale Ale

Explore Our Brews - And Have Fun
As soon as you set foot into our brewery, you’ll feel like you’re in a home away from home – and our tour guides will bring you on a journey of the senses as you enjoy the tastes and scents of our unique beverages across the ground floor and mezzanine.
Why not try our signature Original Irish Pale Ale, which is a real crowd-pleaser? You can also give yourself a tropical treat with our 60 Knots IPA, enjoy our Organic Pilsner, or discover new palates with our Honey beer.
What Do I Need To Know
You’ll be introduced to our beers at our bar as one of our experts talks you through the technical stuff like notes, mouthfeel, and what best to pair your beer with.
We love big groups of between 10 and 40 people. At the moment, our brewery is not wheelchair accessible, and we can’t accommodate smaller groups – but we are always looking to change and improve our offerings for the future.
The tour, which costs €20 per person, typically lasts an hour, giving you plenty of time to savour the many amazing creations we brew at our Oranmore brewery.
We’re authentic, and we’re truly a craft brewery. That means our brews are made with passion and expertise – but that also means our home is a genuine warehouse, so be sure to wrap up warm for what promises to be an unforgettable visit!
